The Georgia site Stop Common Core, American Principles Project and the Concerned Women of America in Georgia have produced five videos on Common Core narrated by Jane Robbins of the American Principles Project. You can watch them at Truth in American Education or order them as the DVD, Stop the National Common Core Power Grab: Reclaim Local Control of Education, at Stop Common Core.
I’ve found more information on Common Core than I can possibly share, so here are links for further reading. I’ll be adding to the list as I find more individuals or groups. Some organizations are focused on other educational issues in addition to Common Core. The lists links are blue because that’s easier on the eyes than a list of red!

I would add to the March 8th post that the American Principles Project is far more than an educational think tank. It was, “founded to reinvigorate and restore those principles that made our country great,” and they have many other projects in addition to education. It also works through American Principles in Action, “a non-profit 501c4 organization dedicated to preserving and propagating the fundamental principles on which our country was founded.”

The Educational Freedom Coalition (TEFC) exists for homeschool parents who seek to maintain educational freedom from the so-called “common core standards” (CCS) being implemented across the country.
…we house a fully-researched Educational Resource Database that identifies which homeschool-related companies and products have explicitly chosen to align with the CCS, which have some sort of coincidental connection, and which have pledged to remain independent.

Because Common Core is an attempt to nationalize education you will find information and analysis applicable to all states at these sites even if you don’t live in any of the states listed below.
